We offer age appropriate programs for children birth through sixth grade with fun and engaging music, stories, games, crafts and more! Underneath all that fun, a lot of learning and growing in our faith with friends is going on!

Early Childhood (birth - 3 years old)

​

First Little Lambs is our weekend nursery program for babies, birth through three years of age. We offer nursery care featuring activities, music and play during all of our weekend worship services. Upon arriving, please register your child with our nursery staff to ensure top level care is provided. Our weekend program for First Little Lambs is located in the Nursery just off the Sanctuary.

Play Group meets the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month at 10:00 AM in the Church Nursery, offering fun and fellowship for families and their young children. Contact: Church Office at 605-886-4427.

Preschool and Elementary 

​

On occasion, we offer a snack or treat for your child to enjoy. Please inform the leader or indicate on your child’s registration form if your child has an allergy.

​Children’s Church is our year-long weekend growth opportunity for kids 4 years old through 6th Grade during our Saturday 5:00 pm worship service and Sunday 10:30 am worship service.  First Kids begin their time together with family during the worship service and then are invited to attend Children’s Church in Fellowship Hall following the Children’s Message. Our time is full of interactive Worship through music, games and exploration activities that reinforce the lesson, Bible time with engaging skits and storytelling, and prayer and discussion with friends.  Our Children's Church curriculum follows the sermon series, which allows at-home conversations to be centered around the similar themes each week.  

 

Wednesday W.I.L.D. is our mid-week program offered from September to May for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Children learn how to be Willing Inviting Loving Disciples. We begin the night at The Gathering for a family meal time, followed by a fun-filled night of Worship through singing and music, Bible skits and lessons, games, crafts, service opportunities, special events, field trips, and more!  

 

Sunday School​ is offered during the school year for children 4 years old through 6th Grade on Sundays from 9:15 – 10:15 am .  We use a Large Group / Small Group format for everyone, along with curriculum designed to follow the sermon series to allow conversations at home to be centered around similar themes each week.  Our time is full of interactive music, exploration activities, Bible skits and storytelling, and prayer and discussion with friends.
